Disable Startup Programs with Windows 7 and Vista

  1. Click Start menu
  2. In the bottom search bar type: msconfig
  3. Select the Startup Menu tab
  4. Locate the startup program you want to disable and click checkbox beside the program to disable it.
  5. Select “OK” at the bottom and you will be asked to reboot now or later.
