What is Google Drive:
One of the benefits of having a Gmail account is the Google Drive feature.
With a Google Account, you get 15 GB of free storage. Storage gets used by Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos, so you can store files, save your email attachments, and back up photos and videos. For more than 15 GB, you can upgrade to Google One.
Google Drive allows you to create and collaborate with others.
Share documents and files, build out spreadsheets and make a presentation on the fly with Docs, Sheets and Slide apps.

How to Edit Permissions:
When you collaborate with other users, you have the ability to choose their permission levels in the file. You can edit the permissions for any file to Edit, View or Comment.
- Start by opening the file you want to update.
- Find and click the blue lock icon that says “Share”. This will be in the top right-hand corner of your screen (the icon can be a yellow or green color as well).
- If you still need to share the document with someone, type the email address in the bar below ‘People’ where it says “Enter names or email addresses”
- Select the pen icon next to the search bar and select the permissions you’d like the user to have (Edit, Comment, View).
- If you already shared the document and need to edit the permissions of a past user, each user you’ve already shared the document with will be listed below the bar saying “Shared with…”.
- Click the “Shared with…” link and this will allow you to edit the permissions for each user.
- Before saving your changes, there will be 2 more boxes you can check at the bottom.
- Check the first box if you want to prevent other users from changing access and adding new people.
- Check the second box if you want to disable the option to download, print or copy for commentators and viewers.
- Click the blue “Done” at the bottom and you’re finished.
