Printer won’t print from computer but can print from other devices just fine.

If your printer is functional with another computer, then your USB drivers are likely the issue. To update your drivers for your printer:

  1. Press the Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. In the Run dialog box type: devmgmt.msc
  3. Then press “Enter”.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click “Allow”.
  4. In Device Manager, expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
  5. Find your USB port driver (usually with the name chipset and/or controller). Ignore the drivers with names like mass storage, generic USB etc.
  6. Right click on your USB controller driver and click on “update driver software”.
  7. On the next window that appears, choose the “Search automatically for updated drivers” (connect to the internet for the latest version of the drivers).
  8. Let the process complete and click “OK”.

If this doesn’t resolve it you can go through the same steps, but instead of selecting “Search automatically for updates drivers” you’ll select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.

You can select and try to update any items it pulls up in that list.
